After 20 years of handling communications for all manner of large corporates, co-founders Louise Kanis and Jenny Ward were looking for a fresh challenge. It came when Louise thought she’d caught her husband joining a dating site.

After he patiently explained the concept of Facebook, Louise thought it was a cute idea but was more interested in its professional potential. However when she went looking for a social networking site for professional and industry associations, she couldn’t find one. So she and Jenny set about creating their own.
